Funny songs are great. Funny songs delivered by superior performing songwriters are even better. Here’s an except from Mark Bates’ song, “Why Don’t You Wanna Go Out With Me?”, performed live recently at Third Eye Cabaret.

Christopher Harris of the West Virginia-based band Qiet, kicks off Third Eye Cabaret’s One Song Series with a song about West Virginia he hopes will vie for anthem status: “Wild and Wonderful.”

“Third Eye Cabaret” recommences at The Cellar this Thursday as the weekly multimedia cabaret showcases our first visiting electronic music artist.

In this second installament of footage from the official Cabaraet Cam of Third Eye Cabaret, we hear Raymond Wallace on a snippet of Leon Redbone’s “Champagne Charlie,” Crystal Good performing her poem “Coach” and Bobby Altmann on blazing blues guitar.
